Explore things to do in Manzanillo, Mexico with Princess Cruises. The Mexican Riviera has many beauties including Manzanillo, a historic city center. Fried tortillas take a swim in spicy red salsa or refreshing green salsa for a savory dish commonly enjoyed during breakfast. A saucy and popular delicacy, mole poblano is made with chili peppers and chocolate and is poured over chicken and then topped with sesame seeds.

Traveling along with your partner or a few friends on a Mexico cruise can quickly create the perfect balance of excitement and relaxing fun. Speaking of beaches, there's a reason most of the best Baja Mexico cruises sail all the way to Puerto Vallarta. There are simply few better places to hit the sand and surf along the Mexican Riviera.

Quick Trips: Plan The Most Relaxing Four-day Vacation To Mexico

Stateroom photos are for sample purposes only -- actual design and layout may vary. If you take a three or four-day Baja Mexico cruise from California, you're sure to call in Ensenada, the first stop on the way traveling down the Mexican Riviera. Although Ensenada is right on the sea, you'll want to make a beeline toward the Wine Route that snakes through northern Baja's lush interior. Of course, there are plenty of delights to be found along the sea. Take in the panorama from Ensenada Mirador, which offers sweeping views of the city and All Saints Bay beyond it.

Not to mention the world-class cuts at Nick & Nora's Steakhouse. One of our unique Panama Canal excursions, the Acapulco cliff divers are a famous sight. Swim your way to seclusion at Puerto Vallarta's hidden beach, Playa del Amor. A romantic, awe-inspiring lagoon awaits after navigating a natural rock cavern. Experience the country’s unique character the second you step on the ship with traditional Mexican cuisine, events and activities.

With plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, Medano Beach is the perfect outing for the entire family during your Cabo cruise. The sun was coming up on the horizon as we pulled into the port. We decided to enjoy one more breakfast in the main dining room before disembarking. We woke up to the sun streaming in the cabin windows as we pulled into Ensenada. I hopped out on the balcony to get some video and photos and had to laugh with sheer delight at all of the sea lions making noises greeting us into port.

You can partake in yoga and breathwork, or arrange for a temazcal (a sweat lodge experience) followed by a meditative walk through the jungle to the on-site cenote. Enjoy the natural environment as you take a dip in the refreshing water. As international and unique as its residents, the cuisine in Los Angeles is an experience all of its own. Indulge your sweet tooth with unique ice cream flavors like chocolate caramel potato chip cupcake at Salt and Straw. Or head to high-end Nobu for classic sushi or new-school tuna sashimi tacos — it doesn't get more LA than that.

Dive below the water’s surface to see colorful marine life, or zipline through the canyons to take in the views from above. During an overnight stay in Cabo, shop for artisan crafts by day, then dine beachside by night. With convenient roundtrip travel from Los Angeles, relaxation and adventure is never too far away. With regular sailings out of San Francisco and Los Angeles, Mexico is just one flight — or drive — away.

On our 5-day Cabo San Lucas cruise getaways, enjoy two full days in Mexico’s resort city. Or taste Mexican street-food — including smoked fish, tacos and chicken tamales — at any of the city’s restaurants. Say hello to sunny beaches and adventure-filled exploration on a Cabo cruise with Princess®.

No matter how busy your schedule may be, you can still indulge in a quintessential Mexico cruise vacation any time of the year thanks to our year round sailings. If you have more time to spare, arrive early or stay longer and explore the wonders of our West Coast embarkation ports. Our 10-day cruises are comprehensive, with visits to unique coastal cities like La Paz, where snorkeling with sea lions excites, and Loreto, where a clambake awaits. Enjoy ziplining through Boca de Sierra, kayaking through Paradise Cove in Cabo, riding an ATV through Puerto Vallarta and more on a Mexico cruise. Mexico might be right down there, but it exists in another world entirely.

It is quick and easy to grab an Uber/Lyft to the port the next morning. When we say that Carnival Miracle takes you to another world, we mean that in every sense. Not only does this ship visit stunning destinations, but features incredible onboard spaces inspired by elements of fantasy. Escape from reality as you take in a show at the Phantom Lounge or a dance at Dr. Frankenstein's Lab. You'll find great food all over the place, from the casual fare of Horatio's to the artful eats of the Bacchus and Ariadne dining rooms...

Cruise to Baja Mexico for some south-of-the-border flavor with a coastal twist. Don’t be confused — the Baja California peninsula is actually in Mexico, and cruises to Mexico are a great way to explore this area. Getting there’s a snap, because it’s just south of California (California, USA, that is) and it’s all just a short trip when you cruise from Los Angeles. Cruise to Baja Mexico and enjoy Ensenada’s beaches before hitting the fashionable shops of Avenida Primera for new jewelry… duty-free, of course. Whether you just take a three or four-day Baja Mexico cruise or extend your trip as long as a week, there's no limit to the discoveries you can make exploring the Mexican Riviera. Tour the stunning wine country outside of Ensenada, or take a boat trip through the Arches of Cabo San Lucas.

25+ cruises later we are much more focused on relaxing and savoring the small moments versus running around all over trying to do it all. You can also order pizza delivered to where ever you are relaxing on the ship for a small charge. We had breakfast at Big Chicken to check out their biscuits and chicken. It was not the best breakfast which I am hoping is because we were later in the day and the biscuits had sat out for a while.
